T.L.C Tree

The Local Community Tree

This Christmas Southgate presents our T.L.C Tree, ‘The Local Community’ Tree.

We are accepting donations from the 18th November – 15th December under the tree outside Strandbags.

2020 has been a year like no other and to pay it forward this Christmas we have partnered with The Community Co-Operative Sutherland Shire.

The Sutherland Shire Food Co-Operative is a collaboration between Hopefield, Orana, One Meal and Salvation Army Miranda, four local not for profit charitable organisations that are now working together to offer residents of the Sutherland Shire access to food relief, in response to the COVID-19 crisis, by providing registered charities (and other non-profit organisations) with a supply of food for distribution to their clients.

The food supply will be made available for participating charities and NGOs, who then distribute food relief to individuals and families that are experiencing financial distress as a result of the impact of COVID-19.

So, what do we need from you?

We ask that our community throw something a little extra into your trolley when shopping with us next to put under our T.L.C Tree for someone in our local community.
